Florida Eels to Play ACHA Opponents through Preseason Exhibitions

The Florida Eels Juniors are looking forward to the upcoming season in the USPHL.

But as an added element GM Frank Scarpaci scheduled three games against local ACHA Colleges as a preseason tune up for the Eels teams. The Eels USP3 and the Elite teams will each scrimmage against the University of Tampa ACHA team on Labor Day September 5th In Clearwater.

On September 14th one of the teams will play against the University of South Florida Bulls ACHA (USF). These are excellent forums for the players to see ACHA College hockey as well as engaging in some very competitive games before the season gets into full swing.

The Eels have scrimmaged these teams for 10+ years. It is a huge win win for the college coaches and the Eels Junior players. The Eels are expected to play games against Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida Atlantic.
