Florida Eels Press Release:: The Eels announce the return of “Alexandre The Great”

Alex has elected to come back this season. Yes, he has unfinished business to complete. We all know what that is. The National Championship
The Florida Eels are excited about the re-signing of 2001 veteran Premier Goalie Alex Caron from Sorel-Tracy, QC, CAN. No doubt Alex is one of the top goalies in the entire USPHL. He played for the Eels for the past two seasons. This is the man who led the Eels to its First Place Florida Divisional Championship last season and back stopped the Eels to the top seed in the Florida Divisional Playoffs and marched his team to Nationals. At Nationals he was unbelievable. He was stella in the round robin games. Then in the semi finals he showed why he was considered amongst the best in the entire league. We all know how strong he was in the Finals. OMG what a performance by this young man. He had ice water in those veins. He has been coined “Alexander the Great” by Dan K and Lucas at the Finals. He held the Charlotte Rush to one goal.
In the Playoffs look at his numbers: GP 7 1.41 GAA .959 Sav% During the regular season he was equally strong. He owned the crease. He would come up with the big saves He held his team in many games to weather the storm. He never gets unglued. He is calm and cool. He takes complete ownership of his job and takes responsibility and never looks to someone else for excuses. Caron has been selected numerous times as Player of the Week over the last two seasons, Player of the Month, and twice selected by a panel of league coaches as Year End All Star. This season he was also selected as one of the Florida Division Goalies in the prestigious HUB City All Star team.
Alex has elected to come back this season. Yes, he has unfinished business to complete. We all know what that is. The National Championship got away from us last season, but he is destined and very determined to capture that title. This kid has the unwavering compete level that is unparalleled in this league.
